MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
Article 1 Definition of Member
A member is an individual (minors must have the consent of a person with parental authority) who has approved the Terms and Conditions, applied to CA4LA Inc (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') for membership of CA4LA MEMBERS (hereinafter referred to as 'Member') and completed the procedures prescribed by the Company.
Article 2 Issuance of members' accounts, etc.
Membership registration procedures are assumed to be completed via the website or a dedicated smartphone application, and one member's account will be issued online for each member.
Membership accounts are provided on CA4LA 's official website (https://www.ca4la.com/) and iOS/Android app (CA4LA MEMBERS), but are intended for use solely by the individual, and may not be transferred or loaned to anyone other than the individual (whether an individual or a corporation).
There are no registration fees or membership fees required to issue a member's account.
Article 3 Use of member's services and benefits
Members can use the Members Service at stores designated by the Company, ONLINE SHOP, and the iOS/Android app (CA4LA MEMBERS) (hereinafter referred to as "Stores"), with the exception of some excluded stores. Terms and conditions for using ONLINE SHOP and app are set forth separately in the "ONLINE SHOP Terms" and "App Terms. CA4LA MEMBERS app can only be used within Japan.
By registering as a member, members can receive various information services such as e-mail delivery. Members acknowledge that some e-mails will be delivered to all members regardless of their selection, and that all communication costs required to receive e-mails, view the site, etc. will be borne by the user.
When purchasing products at a store, by presenting your member's account to us in advance, you will be awarded points according to the purchase amount and purchase history of the product. However, points will not be awarded for the amount equivalent to the points used for the purchased product, sale items, shipping fees, or other amounts designated by our company. For details on what points are not awarded, please refer to the details of member benefits in Section 8 of this Article.
Notwithstanding the provisions of this Article, Members acknowledge that if they are unable to present the Members' Account designated by the Company, they will not be able to receive Members' Benefits (hereinafter referred to as "Benefits").
Members may not transfer or exchange the benefits and rights to a third party for cash.
Points are valid for one year, until the end of the same month of the following year from the date of issue. If a purchase is made before the points expire, the expiration date will be updated from the date of purchase. If you purchase a product from our direct ONLINE SHOP, the "date of product shipment" will be considered the "date of purchase." Points will be added on the "date of purchase."
We may change, revise or abolish all or part of the benefits without prior notice.
Details of member benefits will be determined separately as follows:

Article 4 Changes to registration details, loss of membership card, etc.
If there are any changes to the information registered when signing up for the Members Service, Members must promptly make the changes through "My Page" on CA4LA official website or "Confirm/Change Member Information" on the iOS/Android app.
We shall not be liable for any damages arising from loss of your member's account or password or from its unauthorized use by a third party.
Article 5 Management of email address (ID) and password
Members shall be responsible for managing their own email address (ID) and password and shall not transfer, lend or disclose their email address (ID) and password to third parties.
Members shall be responsible for any damage caused by insufficient management of their email address (ID) and password, errors in use or use by third parties.
Members shall immediately inform the Company if their email address (ID) and password are found to have been used illegally by a third party.
Article 6 Obligations when returning goods (*excluding ONLINE SHOP)
When returning a product, a member must present their member's account.
In the case of the preceding paragraph, the amount of the returned goods will be deducted from the points already awarded.
Members acknowledge that if they are unable to present their membership account, the Company may not be able to accept the return.
Article 7 Withdrawal procedure
Members can cancel their membership service at any time by submitting a cancellation request to our company. Please note that any accumulated points will be invalidated at the time of cancellation. Furthermore, even if a member rejoins, the lost purchase history data and right to receive benefits will not be restored.
To cancel your membership, please apply through "My Page" on CA4LA official website.
Article 8 Loss of membership and privileges
If a member falls under any of the reasons listed below, the Company shall suspend the use of member services or lose membership without prior notice. In addition, the member shall also lose the accumulated points from the time when it falls under each of the following items.
If there is a false statement in the specified items of "Customer Information" (name, address, telephone number, date of birth, etc.) or if the specified change procedures have not been followed, causing a disruption to our business.
If you violate the Membership Terms and Conditions
When there is fraudulent use of the points service
Any other case where the Company determines that a Member is inappropriate as a Member.
Article 9 Prohibition of holding multiple membership cards
The same member may not hold multiple membership cards or multiple barcodes.
Points from multiple membership cards and barcodes cannot be combined, and annual purchase amounts from multiple membership cards and barcodes cannot be combined.
Article 10 Handling of personal information
Any personal information of members that becomes known in connection with the use of this service will be handled in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" separately established by our company.
Article 11 Changes to the Membership Agreement
The company reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions of the agreement at its discretion and without notice to members in the event that any of the following applies. Any changes will be posted on the website or notified by email or other means deemed appropriate by the company, and the changes will take effect at the time of posting or notification
When changes to these terms and conditions are in the interest of the Member
When the change to these Terms and Conditions does not contradict the purpose of the contract and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, and other circumstances related to the change.
If the Member uses the Member Services after the change has taken effect, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the Terms and Conditions after the change has taken effect.
Article 12 Jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute between a Member and the Company in relation to this Membership Agreement, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
These terms and conditions will apply to all members from July 14, 2023. Any previous terms and conditions established prior to these terms and conditions will become invalid upon application of these terms and conditions.
