Regarding camera installation in stores

CA4LA Inc. has decided to experimentally install in-store cameras at its CA4LA Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall for the purposes of improving store layout, analyzing purchasing trends, conducting surveys and campaigns, and researching and developing products, services, and store management methods.

Facial images taken by the camera to analyze your features will be destroyed within 30 days and will not be stored (no personal information other than facial images is taken by the camera). In addition, facial images and analysis result data will be used only by our company and the analysis contractor, will not be linked to member information, etc., and will not be provided to third parties except when required by law.

This initiative is being conducted in accordance with the guidelines in the Guidebook for Utilizing Camera Images issued by the IoT Acceleration Consortium, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the person in charge has confirmed that data is being handled in accordance with the established methods of handling.
